Das „Arbeiten an Stationen“ entspricht den Erkenntnissen der Lernforschung, dass Menschen recht unterschiedlich lernen. Durch die Beteiligung möglichst vieler Sinnesorgane und den Wechsel der Eingangskanäle soll beim „Arbeiten an Stationen“ das Lernen insgesamt positiv beeinflusst werden.
